Industrial Maintenance Mechanic

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Industrial Maintenance Mechanic to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing production equipment to ensure safe and efficient operations. The ideal candidate has strong mechanical aptitude, basic electrical troubleshooting skills, and experience working in a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance on production machinery, motors, conveyor systems, pneumatic tools, and mechanical equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair equipment malfunctions to minimize downtime.
• Diagnose mechanical issues using precision measuring and testing instruments.
• Disassemble, repair, and replace defective machine components using hand and power tools.
• Inspect parts and determine repair or replacement needs using calipers, micrometers, and other measuring tools.
• Fabricate and modify replacement parts as needed.
• Maintain inventory of maintenance supplies and replacement parts.
• Communicate preventive maintenance procedures and equipment needs to production staff.
• Complete maintenance reports and document repairs accurately.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment.
• Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
• Assist with additional maintenance projects as assigned.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Basic electrical troubleshooting skills.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and technical understanding.
• Experience using hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring instruments.
• Ability to read manuals, diagrams, and equipment specifications.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Schedule

• 12-hour shifts
• Monday through Friday
• Occasional Saturdays as needed
