EHS Advisor-Full-time or Part-time

Falcon Safety Group is an EHS consulting firm specializing in the fields of workplace safety, Incident prevention, environmental compliance, and claim management. With our West Central IL, Southeast IA, and Chicago locations, our clients are typically small to medium-sized employers in all general industry sectors, who are looking for assistance managing their EHS practices. Our mission is to improve our clients’ bottom line by identifying and controlling their risks.

Our company is growing! We currently have both a full-time and part-time opportunity for an EHS professional or for a retired professional individual looking to supplement their income as an EHS Advisor that will service clients in the Midwest region areas.

The EHS Advisor will provide clients with strategic EHS leadership. This roll will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing EHS programs, training, and policies. Successful candidates will have prior experience working to build or enhance a EHS culture. Candidates will also need to recognize the importance of quality service and be able to build long-term client relationships. Specific responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Work with approximately 4-6 clients on a routine basis providing outsourced EHS services per the contract scope.
• Develop long-term strategic EHS plans based on loss potential, loss history, hazard identification, program needs, etc.
• Conduct routine job site and facility inspections and reports
• Conduct employee and management training and development on a variety of EHS topics
• Policy and program development, revisions, and hands-on implementation
• Partner with the business development team to pursue prospective clients and complete prospect assessments.
• Assist other advisors on any strategic plans.
• Provide technical expertise to support the FSG sales process.

This position requires a 2/4-year degree in safety or a related field with a minimum of 3 years’ experience. Daily local travel is required with occasional overnight stays.
