We are looking for a 2nd and 3rd Shift Maintenance Technician to join our team.  Competitive wages and an excellent benefits package!

Under the general supervision of the Maintenance Manager, this position will maintain all internal and external facilities by inspecting, testing repairing, and maintaining the electrical and mechanical systems in a safe manner.

 

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Verify and maintain good housekeeping procedures to ensure a safe and clean work environment.
  • Adhere to required and defined safety policies and procedures including food safety programs, OSHA regulations and PPE requirements.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Quality

  • Obtain and maintain complete, proper, and up-to-date documentation for machine and facility service, maintenance, and preventative maintenance.
  • Maintain and purchase adequate inventory of required spare parts, materials, and equipment for preventative and corrective maintenance.

Delivery - Inspect, test, troubleshoot, repair, install, and maintain electrical equipment:

  • Varying voltages, including but not limited to 480v, 240v and transformed 24v power.
  • Motors (all types), starters, breakers, transformers, isolation switches, relays, fuses, resistors, air conditioning, valves, AC Drives, and DC Drives.
  • Implement all maintenance projects and machinery installations.
  • Engage in preventative maintenance processes throughout facility.

Customer Service

  • Work positively with maintenance and operations teams to troubleshoot and solve problems.
  • Excellent teamwork, cooperation, and problem-solving skills.

Required Qualifications

  • 2+ years of electro-mechanic experience within a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong proficiency in reading schematics and blueprints.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.

 

Demonstrated experience with:

  • Electrical panel and drive components
  • A/C and D/C motors
  • Gear trains, shafts/journals, pulleys, bushings, and bearings.

Preferred Qualifications

  • PLC Hardware and Software
  • Experience with lockout tagout procedures
  • Customer service driven and focused.
  • Self-starter with ambition to take on additional responsibilities.
  • Maintain flexible schedule to accommodate 24-hour operations.
  • Develop corrugated industry knowledge.
  • Competent in Microsoft Office applications as well as work order applications.

Conditions: Heavy lifting, occasional fork-lift operation, electrical and mechanical work with various tools. Working conditions can be physically and mentally challenging.
